Alpha Arbutin–found to be 9 times more effective than the common beta form of arbutin in inhibiting the enzyme tyrosinase , the main enzyme in the biosynthesis of the melanin pigments. In addition, the product contains a very high concentration of a unique compound (a very stable oil soluble form) of vitamin C.
