Do not dye if you have a rash on your face or a sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp, after a previous reaction to hair or eyelash dye, or after a reaction to a black henna tattoo. Black henna tattoos may increase the risk of allergy. Rinse immediately if product comes into contact with eyes.

Clean the eye area thoroughly and protect the eyelid using suitable RefectoCil eye protection pads. Mix the dye with 3% Oxidant Cream or 3% Oxidant Liquid at a 1:1 weight ratio, for example 0.5g of each. Apply with a brush in the direction of hair growth; for eyelashes, apply from base to tip. Leave for 5–10 minutes depending on the desired intensity. Remove with a damp pad. When dyeing eyelashes, remove the pads and clean again by rinsing the eyes. After Blonde Brow, the processing time is 1–5 minutes; after a lash lift, two minutes.

Allergy test: Perform 48 hours before each use. In a non-metallic container, mix RefectoCil dye and 3% oxidant at a 1:1 ratio. Using a cotton swab, apply a thin layer the size of a pea to a 2×2 cm area on the inside of the forearm. Leave for 45 minutes uncovered, avoiding contact or clothing, then rinse with water and dry. If itching, redness, swelling, or any other change occurs during the test or in the 48 hours following it, rinse immediately, do not use the product, and consult a physician. A normal test result does not guarantee that an allergic reaction will not occur in the future.
